The purpose of this program is to recognize Illinois teachers and their students for outstanding use of video media to effectively support teaching and learning in grades K-8. The contest will be judged by high school students throughout the state. Space for judges is limited. If you are interested in having your high school students act as judges for the contest, please contact Joe Brennan at jbtv@mac.com. NOTE: Teachers whose students participate in the judging of this contest will receive a free 1-day registration to the conference. (One [1] teacher per classroom of judges.)
Video submissions must support curricular goals and Illinois Learning Standards. Students must have participated in some aspect of the video in order for it to be a valid submission (i.e., filming, editing, script writing, set design, etc). A release will be required for every student that appears in the video. All projects are subject to publication on the ICE and Apple websites and/or in their respective hard copy circulations.
