Dec. 3, 2011	iPads in Education Workshop: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Loyola Academy Student Center Room 115 1100 Laramie, Wilmette, IL 60091 9:00am to noon. Registration required. Bring your iPad and discover and share how these devices are being used in education. We will begin with a “There’s An App for That” share out, and break into smaller groups to address individual learning needs and interests. A light breakfast will be served beginning at 9:00am. This workshop is for NICE members only.

Mar. 30, 2012	Deadline to submit mini-grant applications NICE supports teachers in the north suburban Chicago region by providing resources in the form of a Mini-Grant program to promote innovation and provide opportunities that may not be available otherwise. Grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded and paid to the school employing the grant applicant(s). .doc OR .pdf applications
