One of ICE's goals is Professional Development - to support and provide professional development opportunities in educational technology through collaborative communities. Through our partnerships and the addition of our Professional Development Coordinator, ICE strives to provide a broad spectrum of needs and interests through conferences, events, organizational collaborations, professional resources, and strategic initiatives that serve to enhance our member’s professional practice.  Participate

ICE and Participate have partnered to bring you the ICE Portal through the Participate platform. Focus will be placed on systems for creating customized PD plans for individual educators and for school/district programs. Within the portal, you can dive into collaboration, sustained cycles of inquiry and reflection, and microcredentialing/badging. Love Twitter chats, Edcamps, online courses, blogs, and podcasts? Check out the portal and be a part of the #CollaborativePD movement and see how you can leverage technology and combine your participatory PD experiences with your formal learning to create connected PD paths that strengthen instructional skills, prioritize improved practice, and directly connect to student learning outcomes! Wonder Workshop

Illinois Computing Educators would like to announce their official partnership with Wonder Workshop, creator of the popular Dash, Dot, and Cue robots now used in over 15,000 elementary and middle schools in the US. Our partnership includes the Teach Wonder initiative, a collaboration with state-based nonprofit partners designed to give every educator the knowledge and skills needed to bring state-of-the-art coding and robotics experiences into the classroom.
